Ban Dai - first sets produced in 2000

The character based playsets above were widely available . Gabumon and Agumon shared a commond set of graphics on the back package .  The playsets also included ‘costume’ pieces for the big character which allowed you to digivolve him into his alter-ego .  These really typify the action-figure / playset combo . 

The three ‘compact’ style sets below were only available as imports and are fairly hard to find . 

They share identical outer cases in different colors .
